Mamma's Hands was founded to provide hope and support to those in crisis. Our Mission is to help those in crisis regain their self-respect, and to provide them the support and direction they need to become productive members of society. Our Vision: Hope in Every Individual. To accomplish this mission, and as the result of several miracles over the past 20 years, Mamma's Hands has created two programs: The Phone Home program and the House of Hope program.
Phone Home (street) Program
Our goal is to reconnect and reunite the homeless living on the streets with their families across the USA. Homeless men, women and teens are encouraged to reach out to their families with a free cellular call. From there, we work with the families to get their ‘missing’ loved one off the streets and back home.
HOUSE of HOPE Program
We strive to help mothers in crisis find their way—to be the best they can be, for themselves and for their children. At this critical time in their life, they receive something absolutely crucial — a safe and stable home, anchored by a support system that helps them to regain hope, dignity and self-esteem, and to move toward a self-reliant future.
Mamma's Hands and the HOUSE of HOPE do not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations. These activities include, but are not limited to, hiring and firing of staff, selection of volunteers and vendors, and provision of services. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.
